THE CENTRE:
MISS PARKER’S OFFICE.

Parker is sitting at her desk thinking about what happened between Jarod and herself last week. Then Sydney walks in. "What is it Syd?" Parker asks thoroughly annoyed about been disturbed.

"This letter just came for you." Sydney says but there is something eating away at him and it is revolving around Jarod and Miss Parker, and he is determined to find out what happened.

"Thanks Syd…Is there anything else you wanted?" Parker asks wishing that he would just leave for a little while, or be quiet until she got Jarod out of her head, while she is thinking about him she is exposed and venerable, and she hates been like that.

"I know what your reactions are going to be but…If you don’t mind me asking, what did Jarod do with you for two whole days, alone, in-the-middle of nowhere, and with us not having the slightest clue as to where you both were." Sydney finally spits out.

Parker jumps up quickly, panicking, thinking that Sydney read her mind. "What do YOU think happened Syd?" Parker asks icily.

"I don’t know for sure, but I have a few ideas." Sydney accidentally lets slip out.

"It’s thinking like that Syd that will get you into trouble quicker than you can get out of it!" Parker glares at Sydney. "And another thing Syd, nothing happened." Parker says coldly.

"Well if you need to talk…about ANYTHING you know where I am." Sydney says knowing all too well that Miss Parker knows more than she is letting on. Sydney exits.

Parker watches Sydney leave the room, and she breathes a sigh of relief. Parker opens the letter that Sydney brought for her.

Miss Parker:
Miss you terribly See you tonight?
Anonymous sender.

Parker smiles, knowing damn well who sent her the letter. Then Broots walks in holding a bunch of papers. Parker stuffs the note into her jacket pocket. "What do you want Broots?" She snaps, coldly.

Broots starts to walk slowly up to her desk. "Miss Parker…I think I know where Jarod is." Broots says, scared shitless of her tone.

"Broots, give me a look at those papers." Parker says quietly, because he was already scared enough of her and will do what he is told by her anyway.

"All this says is he might be in Blue Cove and close to The Centre." She says alarmed, then laughs. "If I didn’t know better I would think Boy Wonder is getting home sick." Parker smiles knowing why he is hanging around.

"Or maybe he is just getting home-sick for some of the people at the Centre." Broots says calmly.

"And just what the HELL is that suppose to mean?" Parker snaps.

"I just…Meant…That you and Jarod grew up together…And that you and he were friends…And that he misses you." Broots turns into a quivering wreak at what he had to explain to her.

Parker glares at Broots because he had puzzled out what was going on without even knowing it. "Broots have a sweeper team standing by, you and Sydney come with me. Where do we start to look for Boy Wonder?" Parker asks, trying to forget what Broots had said.

"Jake’s Caravan Park, near the forest." Broots replies cautiously because there was something in Miss Parker’s eyes he didn’t like or know for that matter.

"Well, lets go get Boy Wonder back." Parker smiles while putting her coat on. They exit her office to go get Syd.

JAKE’S CARAVAN PARK.
1.30PM

"Did you rent out a caravan to this man?" Parker asks Jake, while holding a picture of Jarod.

"Who wants to know?" Jake asked. Sydney and Broots step back because they know all to well what’s going to happen.

"We do, we are very good friends of this man!" Parker tries to stay calm, but inside she is fuming and all she wanted to do was to KILL him.

"Yes, he is in caravan…73, left-hand back, and the caravan is green, cream and brown, you can’t miss it."

"Thank you." Sydney says for Miss Parker who walks away in huff. Sydney and Broots catch up too her.

"GOD I hate people that are ARROGANT, stuck-up, SONS OF BITCHES like him!" Parker barks, while Sydney and Broots are quietly walking behind her waiting for her to cool down.

Approaching caravan 73, Parker takes her gun out of its holster and arms it. Meanwhile Jarod is in the caravan looking out through the window and smiling at the person he cares about most in the world, next to his family. Parker. "Broots, tell the sweeper team to move in on my mark." Parker orders quietly, opening the door to the caravan and stepping inside. Once inside she sees Jarod and smiles at him. "Hello." Parker says cheerfully.

"Hi Sweetie." Jarod replies lovingly.

"Broots and Sydney are outside." Parker whispers.

"See you tonight then." Jarod says quietly before kissing Parker softly, and running out the door.

"Jaaaroood!" Parker yells after him. "Sydney get him!" Parker yells trying to sound like she is in pain.

But it was too late. Jarod had made it to the forest, with Sydney and Broots jogging after him nearly dying. Sydney turns back to Jarod’s caravan to see what happened to Miss Parker. When he gets inside he sees Miss Parker sitting on the floor holding her stomach. Sydney kneels down beside her.

"Are you all right Miss Parker?" Sydney asks cautiously.

"What do you mean, apart from been hit in the guts!" Parker snaps. "Help me get up Syd…Where’s my gun?" Parker barks.

"I’ll get it." Sydney says helping Miss Parker too her feet. When they exit the caravan, Broots looks shocked and at the same time very concerned.

"What happened?" Broots asks worriedly and cautiously.

"I had a bit of trouble with Boy Wonder!" Parker says angrily.

"Broots, don’t just stand there like a stunned goat, help me get Miss Parker get to the limo!" Sydney barks.

THE CENTRE:
MISS PARKER’S OFFICE:
3.30P.M.

Parker is sitting on the lounge in her office, when her father walks in. "I just heard what happened Angel, are you all right?" Mr Parker asks urgently.

"Fine Daddy…Did you want anything?" Parker asks wanting to be left alone.

"No I just came to talk to my lovely little Angel." Mr Parker smiles at Parker.

"I nearly had him Daddy…Well until he hit me in the stomach." Parker laughs lightly. "But I think I’ll just go home, is that all right with you Daddy?" Parker looks at her father.

"Yeah…That’s all right Angel, I’ll see you in the morning." Mr Parker kisses her forehead and then leaves. Parker gets up and walks over to her desk and gets some papers and her red folder and then leaves.

PARKER MANOR:
8.30P.M.

Parker is sitting on the couch in front of the fire and the phone rings. "What?" She answers.

"Miss Parker, I was just wondering if I could come round and see you for a minute about something rather important?" Sydney asks cautiously.

"Can’t you say what you want to say over the phone?" Parker inquires.

"No, I’ll be round in a minute." Sydney hangs up.

"Great, that’s all I need." Parker grumbles.

"Who was that on the phone?" Jarod asked when he crept up behind her.

Parker jumps. "Bloody Hell Jarod, do you have to sneak up on people like that?" Parker asks trying to control her raging heart beat.

"I’m sorry, who was that on the phone?" Jarod asks again, softer.

"Sydney, he wants to come around to speak to me about something. Earlier on today I could have sworn he was reading my mind and that was very bad because you were all over my thoughts." Parker explains.

"Bad for who?" Jarod asks sitting down next to her on the couch.

"Bad for you. Bad for me. If they knew what was going on they would kill us both." Parker whispers.

"You’ll have to learn not to worry so much, it’s not good for your ulcer. By the way how is it?" Jarod asks lovingly as he gently touched her stomach.

"It’s been better." Parker says.

"Oh, my poor baby." Jarod says sincerely. He leans over and kisses her softly.

When the kiss ended Parker whispers. "Well that helps a bit. When Syd comes you can hide in the next room and listen to what he is going to say." Parker gently touches his face.

"And that would be now, I can hear a car." Jarod says. He kisses her one more time before he goes to hide.

KNOCK. KNOCK.

Parker opens it. "You said you wanted to speak to me Syd." Parker says while she shuts the door.

"Yes, there is only one way to say what I’ve come to say, so I’ll just come out and say it. I can’t believe that nothing happened between you and Jarod when he took you somewhere with him, for two days, ALONE." Sydney says.

"Well you can believe what you want Syd, but nothing happened, and do you have any proof for your allegations?" Parker asks trying to keep herself under control.

"It’s funny you should mention that, because in the caravan this fell out of your pocket." Sydney holds out a piece of paper. "And whenever someone mentions Jarod’s name you start to shuffle around and instead of your normal angry, pissed off, active self, you have been very quiet and lethargic." Sydney explains his reasons and proof. Parker relaxes a bit knowing that her and Jarod’s little secret is now everyone’s business. "Come on Miss Parker…What ever you tell me will stay between us and us only." Sydney tries to make Parker open up.

"Wait here for a minute Syd." Parker says quietly and walks through the door that Jarod went through to go and find him. "Jarod, I need some help explaining everything to Syd." Parker whispers to Jarod.

"OK, where is he?" Jarod asks.

"He’s in front of the fire." Parker says terrified of what they have to confess.

"Come on, we’ll tell him together." Jarod responds, smiling at Parker. When they come through the door Sydney looks up, and he saw Jarod holding Miss Parker’s hand and leading her over to where Sydney is standing. "Hello Syd." Jarod says smiling.

"Hello Jarod." Sydney says a little confused.

Parker walks forward so that she is closer to the lounge and she looks up at Sydney with concern throughout her face. "I needed some help to explain." Parker smiles lightly. "How about we all sit down because this is going to be a long story." Parker flops onto the lounge, Sydney sits next to her and Jarod sits in the armchair that is close to Parker’s end of the lounge. "You said whatever we tell you will be in confidence, you swear?" Parker asks cautiously before the whole deal is said.

"I swear, now what is going on?" Sydney asks patiently.

"This is hard to confess everything a one go, how about asking us questions and we will answer them." Jarod suggests.

"OK…I’ll start off easy. Was last week planned?" Sydney starts off.

"No, none of it." Jarod says. Parker gets up and starts to pace.

"Are you all right Miss Parker." Sydney whispers.

"Fine, I just think better pacing." Parker says quietly, with out a hint of coldness in it that has filled it so MANY times before.

"Does this pacing have anything to do with the questions that I am asking you?" Sydney asks quietly.

"Yes, but I’ll stop in a minute. I just pace to calm down, that’s all." Parker replies. She stops pacing suddenly and sits down.

"Sydney, since you’re asking all the questions, I’ll ask you one, when did find out that there was something going on between us?" Parker asked Sydney.

"Probably when Jarod handed you over, you weren’t your normal cranky self, so I knew something happened but I didn’t know what." Sydney answers her question.

"OK, do you have any more questions for us Syd?" Jarod asks.

"Yes, I have a few but one can wait for know…Jarod do you love Miss Parker?" Sydney asks quietly so it won’t provoke Parker to attack.

"Yes, and she knows it." Jarod smiles at Parker. She gets up and starts to pace again.

"I’m sorry, have I asked something I shouldn’t have?" Sydney asks quietly.

"No, it’s OK Syd." Jarod answers.

Jarod gets up, puts his arm out to stop Parker from pacing and he pulls her towards him and holds her there until she calms down. When Parker starts to relax she rests her head on his shoulder, in close to his neck. "I was just thinking what would happen if my father or Raines found out about this." Parker starts to shake. Jarod rubs Parker’s arms to stop her from shaking.

"Well they’ll have to find out another way because I won’t tell them, but if I was you Miss Parker, I would start to act like your usual self before it becomes to obvious to the others." Sydney says calmly.

"Yeah, I’ll try Syd." Parker says relaxing right up against Jarod.

"Well, it’s getting late and I really should be getting home now. I’ll see you tomorrow Miss Parker, bye Jarod." Sydney goes to leave the room. He stops suddenly.

"Jarod, you will take care of Miss Parker, I don’t want to see her get hurt." Sydney says to Jarod.

"Don’t worry Syd, I don’t want to see her get hurt either, now don’t worry." Jarod reassures him. Sydney leaves.

"I have the strangest feeling that everything is going to blow up in our faces." Parker says worriedly, as she lifts her head.

"Don’t worry Sweetie, nothing is going to happen, if we do everything properly." Jarod reassures Parker.

"I thought that answering Syd’s questions would be harder than it really was." Parker says sleepily.

"Are you getting sleepy yet?" Jarod asks, laughing lightly.

"Yes." Parker says resting her head against his shoulder.

"Can you make it up the stairs." Jarod asks softly.

"Probably." Parker says starting to lose consciousness.

"Well I’ll help you." Jarod smiles. Then without warning he bends down and knocks her legs out from under her and carries her up to the bedroom and lays her out on the bed and lies down next to her until she goes to sleep.

Just before she is sound asleep, Jarod whispers. "I love you."

Parker wakes up again, she leans over to kiss him. "I love you too." She whispered.

Then she raises her hand and Jarod picks up his hand and put it to hers. In unison they whisper. "Always." Then they both go to sleep smiling. Jarod holding Parker in his arms.
