Truth

Barbara and Vania
Miss Parker was taken to The Centre's
infermary. Fortunately the bullet didn't get any vital organ and she was able to
recover, slowly, but with sucess. Now that she was better, it was time to find
out who shot at her and why.
In the moment she left the
infermary, Miss
Parker went to her father, Mr. Parker, who was in his office playing with his
young son, Christopher, now with 2 years old, ready to argue with him. He didn't
even visit her when she was at death's door.
When her brother saw
her, he only said:
"Sis, you're better
already!" with
a smile in his face. The boy had dark brow hair and big blue eyes and loved his
sister.
"Angel, how are
you?"
"I'm fine, ready to catch Jarod, but I
would be a lot better if you had went to visit me at the infirmary, just as my
little brother did." - she said picking her half-brother in her arms and
thinking - 'Thank God Lyle's not here.' He left after losing all his fingers (he's a very loyal
guy). Mr. Parker kicked him off The Centre, son or not.
"Come on,
Angel!"
"It's the
truth, daddy!" - Miss
Parker asnwered a little more coldly.
"By the way, how did you get
shot?"
"Don't tell me that
you, the
all-powerfull chairman of The Centre, doesn't know how, your own daughter, blood
of your blood, was shot?!!!"
"Of course your father knows who you
were shot." - a sinister and voice said. It was Mr. Raines that
had came back from the Kingdom of the Deads, with two oxygen tanks , Bopsy and
Totsy. "Mr. Parker only wants to know how did you find out the truth."
Miss Parker just starred at him for a
moment, seing the worm that she tought was dead and burried alive, but kept her
cold blood and said:
"Well, Mr. Reverend of the
Devil, that
is in God's secret."
And left the
office.
"How could you let this
happen?" - Raines in his usual tone of voice heading to the Chairman.
"My daughter is my
problem and she's something I can easely control. Now leave. I've got business to
take care."

After leaving her father's
office, Miss
Parker headed to Sydney's office as quickly as her shoes let her and when she
finally get there she had the second surprise of the day. Catherine (Kate, for
almost everybody) was there and she was now part of a project named "Catch
of the Genius".
