Miss Parker, Sydney and Broots
are at the Institute for Animal Reproductive Studies, where Jarod was living.
The zoo keeper explains them that Jarod liked to watch the animals in their
cages, and especially when the monkeys were doing it. Meanwhile, Lyle
arrives and he is complaining about the fact that his sister didn't mentioned
where she was going. Broots finds a box full of sex toys. Miss Parker concludes
that Jarod must be in heat. Jarod
is working as a sex therapist in a clinic (Arnett Sex Center). One of the
patients is in his office and she is obsessed by the use of disguises. Before
things got out of control, another person arrives and explains the situation to
Jarod. Afterwards, Jarod talks to several couples, that are also with some
problems. Sydney and
Broots are going through Jarod's stuff. Miss Parker joins them. Sydney says that
there is no reason for Jarod not to use his intelligence to explore his
sensuality, but Miss Parker just thinks he need a cold shower. Lyle arrives and
informs them that he doesn't want to be left out of the loop, and that, from now
on, they will have to report everything to him. Miss Parker doesn't care a bit.
Sydney finds a card in the box with an Internet address on it. Miss Parker
orders Broots to analyze it. Jarod
meets Dr. Arnett in his office, that is full of memorabilia of his old
university. They question themselves if Dr. Blass' patients will be able to do
the transition to Jarod, and he assures him that he will do everything to get
their trust. Then, they talk about what drove Jarod to replace Blass: she was
attacked by one of her patients. She doesn't even leaves her house. After the
meeting, Jarod speaks to an intern that is watching a tape with Dr. Arnett in
it, where he confesses to have hydrophobia. Broots
is sitting in front of his computer, making a drawing of a woman, quite similar
to Miss Parker. Sydney arrives and tells him that he shouldn't repress his
feelings, but Broots answers him that he is never going to say it to her.
Meanwhile, Miss Parker comes in and thinks that he has a crush on a woman that
works there. Broots is able to find the font of the Internet address. Miss
Parker tells Broots to stay at The Centre, pretending he is working, but Sydney
says that he has business to take care of, and Broots ends up going with her.
When they are leaving, Sydney wishes Broots good luck. The
same woman that received Jarod in the beginning, is watching an old session with
Dr. Blass. She is advising her about her boyfriend. That night, Jarod goes to
Melissa Blass'. They talk for a little while and she tells him that she likes
the sea, because it reminds her of her grandmother's house. Melissa starts
acting compulsively and, when she remembers the attack, she tells Jarod that she
never got to see her attacker's face. She only knows that it was Luke (one of
her patients) who lead her there. Jarod follows Luke to his neighborhood. When
Jarod finally finds him, Luke draws a gun on him and tells him that he didn't
attack Dr. Blass. Broots
and Miss Parker arrive to Lustyfun.com's address. Broots tries, in vain, to say
something to Miss Parker, and she gives him advices on how to act with the girl
she thinks he likes. A man opens the door and lets them enter his place, when
they tell him that they know Jarod. As husband and wife, Miss Parker and Broots
ask him if he knows Jarod's new address and he gives it to them. When they
leave, the man calls someone and tells him that they just left. Dr.
Arnett is surprised to find out that Jarod was at Melissa's apartment and then
tells him that, before the attack, she was one of the most stable persons he
knew. Jarod returns to her house with a box full of sand to help her relax,
while she's telling him what happened during the attack. When she starts to get
uncontrolled, she drops her pills, that she takes with vodka, into the glass.
The liquid becomes red. Jarod discovers that the pills were given to her by Dr.
Covney. He then does some experiments with several different pills and vodka, to
see what she is really taking. It happens that she's not really taking Pronil.
Instead, she's taking Daronex. When Jarod goes to talk with Covney about it, he
tells him that he didn't prescribed it to her. Dr. Arnett did. Broots
and Miss Parker are at the address the man gave them and the situation is kind
of embarrassing to Broots (he has to help Miss Parker to climb a fence, and her
skirt is so short that Broots almost has an heart attack). In the warehouse,
they see some things that indicate that Jarod might still be there and Broots
tells her that they have to tell this to Mr. Lyle because it's too important.
Broots grabs a pistachio and, suddenly, it occurs to Miss Parker that they only
found the paper with the Internet address after Mr. Lyle's visit. Miss Parker
leaves and Broots scurries after her. In
Dr. Arnett's office, Jarod finds some newspaper articles, and in one of them, it
is told that Dr. Blass was attacked when she was a student at the same University
that Arnett frequented. In her house, Jarod speaks with Melissa about her first
attack and she tells him that the attacker was never found. After watching
another Blass' session with Luke, Jarod finds him in a park bench. Luke tells
him that it was Arnett who ordered him to call Dr. Blass that day, and that he
didn't tell this to anyone, because he knew it would be his word against
Arnett's. After a brief
talk with Paul Arnett, Jarod plans what he's going to do to make him confess his
crime, using Monique (the patient that was in his office when he arrived). Jarod
puts him to sleep, using some drug. Arnett wakes up disoriented and scared in a
bath tub full of water. After a little bit of mental torture, Arnett
confesses. At The
Centre, Miss Parker confronts Lyle about what she found and tells him that he
was the one that left the clues for them to follow. He denies it and Miss Parker
grabs his throat, saying that Jarod is allergic to pistachios. Then, she puts
one into his mouth. Sydney and Broots watch the exchange, and then, Lyle
leaving. Broots decides that this is the time to tell Miss Parker what he feels
for her. Miss Parker is waiting for the elevator and, when Broots approaches
her, she turns and tells him that she's flattered, and even thinks it's cute,
but it's never going to happen. Then, she wishes him good luck with the double
chinned chick and steps into the elevator, leaving Broots standing there
(however, he's delighted because she touched his arm). Jarod
is with Melissa Blass, saying goodbye to her, while he assures her that she's
going to be ok.
